What are anti-wrinkle injections?

Anti-wrinkle injections are composed of a natural, purified protein which when injected into facial muscles, weaken and lessen the lines associated with facial expression by relaxing the underlying muscles and allowing the skin to flatten out.  By preventing the skin from contracting this decreases unwanted fine lines and wrinkles from forming, softening areas of concern whilst still maintaining expression.

How long will anti-wrinkle treatments last:

Depending on the dose and area injected, anti wrinkle treatments last approximately 3-4 months.  This treatment is not permanent and requires regular treatment to maintain optimal results.

Aftercare advice following treatment:

First 4 hours:

• No laying down

• No application of makeup over injection areas

• No massaging or touching areas injected

• Avoid strenuous exercise or activity

• No alcohol

24 - 48 hours post:​

• Avoid putting pressure on the treated areas

• Minimise excessive exercise or activity

​

Up to 2 weeks post:

• Avoid facials and massages to treated areas

• Avoid facial waxing or any other treatments to the injected areas.
